​ At Twisted Anchor Boats, we take pride in the cleanliness and condition of our boats as they are kept in tip top.  And we have the best informed and friendliest customer service.

​

 Safety is our utmost priority while you are on the water.  We are Boat Livery and NASBLA Safety Certified, have all approved and required USCG safety equipment onboard, and all boats are insured for $1,000,000.00

​

We are available at all times throughout the whole rental process.  From the initial contact, to returning to the dock, we only want the best experience for our clients.

AVAILABLE PONTOON BOATS

  • Bennington:  20ft Pontoon with Double Bimini, seats up to 6-8. 

  • Sweetwater: 22ft Pontoon with a 10ft Bimini, seats up to 10- 12. 

  • Harris:  22ft Pontoon with Double Bimini, seats up to 10-12.

  • $50 deposit due at time of booking

  • Cooler rental-$20 (Ice can be purchased at the dock)

  • *Dock delivery available-subject to location and condition of dock.  Delivery charge and fuel delivery usage applies. May not be available during Holidays or on all weekends.

  • ​Extended & flexible time is available-subject to availability

Anchor

  • 2 Day Boat Rental-$475 per day 

  • 3-6 Days Boat Rental-$450 per day

  • 7 Days Boat Rental-$2800

  • $100 deposit due at time of booking

  • Prices do not include tax or fuel

  • Person and weight limits per boat

  • *Staying at a dock with a MULTI-DAY rental will depend on the location and condition of the dock. 

  • *Delivery fee and fuel delivery usage applies.  Delivery may not be available during Holidays or some weekends.

  • No other discounts can be applied to multi-day rentals.

BOAT OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 30 years old with valid drivers' license

  • Must have two years of prior legitimate boating experience

  • Must have experience docking and anchoring

  • If born after 1/1/88, state law requires a valid Boating Safety Course certificate 

  • Temporary Driver Certificate can done on-line at the button below: https://www.boat-ed.com/floridarental/

  • All drivers are required to fill out a waiver after the reservation has been made.

PROHIBITED ON RENTALS

  • Sharp objects

  • Aerosol Sprays

  • Smoking

  • Grills/Fires/Fireworks

  • Towing/Tubing/Skiing 

  • Alcohol consumed by the driver

  • Firearms & Illegal drugs

  • Using life jackets as a flotation device.  Bring floats or noodles

  • Anyone onboard not listed on and signed the liability waiver

  • Anyone driving the boat that has not filled out and signed the liability waive

 

Fishing & Pets allowed ONLY on the 22ft Harris Pontoon

OPERATOR & PARTICIPANT WAIVERS

Under no circumstances may anyone drive the boat without filling out and signing the driver/operator waiver.  Nor are any passengers allowed on board that have not signed the participant waiver. 

 

The waivers can be texted or emailed at any time after the reservation has been made.

  •  Jewfish Key Sandbar

  • Sister Key Sandbar

  • Beer Can (Greer) Island 

  • Palma Sola Bay

  • Dock & Dine restaurants in the ICW

These areas are permissible BUT dependent on weather conditions, driver experience and # of people on board.

  • Egmont Key

  • Passage Key (clothing optional area)

  • South of Longboat Key

  • Around all of Anna Maria Island-both in the Gulf and intercoastal

  • Gulf Waters-no further off the coast than 1 mile

NOT PERMISSIBLE due to dangerous currents in Tampa Bay

  • Skyway Bridge 

  • Ft. Desoto Park

  • North of Egmont Key

  • Docking at Rod & Reel

  • Docking at Anna Maria City Pier

Please do not anchor off and swim anywhere around Bean Point as there are strong currents that can sometimes be deceiving.
